Wendy Jo's RR has now arrived safely in the UK! It's a gorgeous colour and I can't wait to stitch on it. Shame that I have to stitch a section I've already stitched before but c'est la vie!

Edgar's RR

Edgar's RR has been mailed to Margaret today. Please let me know when it has arrived Margaret. Suzanne - I'm happy to receive Wendy Jo's before the next deadline if you finish your section earlier!

Deb's RR

I packaged up Deb's RR ready to mail out to Margaret next week but hubby saw it on my desk and thought it was to go now and took it to the Post Office today! Sorry if it's way too early Margaret but it will give you lots of time for the next deadline.

Suzanne - if Edgar's (?) is ready I am happy to get it earlier too.

Suzanne - your RR has arrived safely in the UK. The thread colours are amazing and I am looking forward to stitching on this one once I have chosen which section to stitch :-)

Rowyn's RR

I mailed Rowyn's RR to Valerie this morning. I hope it doesn't take too long to get there. Two packages I sent to the US on December 13 (with those little crackers in them) have still not arrived - I hope they are still on route and are not lost!

Valerie's RR

I finished my section on Valerie's RR yesterday. This stitched up like a dream with the beautiful silks that Valerie chose! I will hold off mailing it to Edgar for a couple of weeks unless you are ready for it now Edgar? Let me know. Sorry about the poor photo but it's really dark and gloomy here and has been for the past few weeks so I had to take it using my Ottlite for lighting. If anyone has any spare sunshine - please bottle it and send it over!

Carol's re-stitch on it's way to SF

I put my re-stitched piece in to the mail today Edgar. Please let me know when it arrives - I don't want another one to bite the dust! 

Carol's re-stitch

I have completed my re-stitch. As you can see I frogged the green initials and date and re-stitched using the same grey as the little rabbit. I've no idea why the fabric looks grey - poor lighting I expect - it's actually lambswool!  I will mail it out to Edgar this weekend.

My re-start

Here's a picture of my re-start. The fabric is 35ct lambswool linen and the silk is Vicki Clayton's Imperialosity - 1 strand over 2. I was going to order in something new but decided to go with whatever I had in my stash. Haven't quite decided whether to stitch the rabbit and maybe accents in grey. If so, I will frog the initials and year and replace them too. Hopefully I should finish my section for the mailing deadline!

Update on Mindi's RR

I know I haven't had Mindi's RR very long but, as you must by now have realised, I just cannot sit on these RRs - I have to get stitching! I finished my section and it's going in the mail tomorrow to Edgar. 

Mindi's RR

I couldn't wait to make a start on Mindi's RR! I only have the motif with the 'devil's horns' to go. I love the vintage fabric and the silks that Mindi chose - can you let me know what this is please? This is such a lovely RR and I am really enjoying it. I am tempted to order Raisin Wine for my future stitching of BP.

Just to let Mindi know that her RR arrived safe and sound from Wendy today and it's beautiful. The fabric and silks are gorgeous - can I keep this one instead of mine? :o) 

I am really looking forward to stitching on this one.

Donna's RR

Edgar - I have mailed Donna's RR to you today. Please let me know when it arrives - such a worry entrusting our precious stitching to the mailing system!!

I dreamt about QFRR last night - mine was returned but instead of being stitched someone had frogged it - I could see where the stitching had been. What a nightmare LOL

Despite having received Donna's RR only a few day ago, I have already finished the section I chose to stitch! I am so enjoying this RR - it's such a quick stitch and it's so nice to work with different fabrics and flosses.  I will wait a couple of weeks before I mail this to Edgar as I don't want to pressurize anyone! I think the next one for me to stitch will be Mindi's and I am looking forward to working on this.

Donna's RR now in the UK

Just to let Donna (and Wendy) know that her RR is safe in the UK. The fabric and floss are gorgeous especially the silk floss - such a vibrant shade of green!  So, just when I thought I might get back to Ms Hannah, along comes this. I can't wait to get started!
